if Amazon coming here happened to bring Fremont Brewing distro, we all may need to reconsider our positions on the hq .

They have one of the best barrel programs out there & picking up their releases is a big perk of my travel. This year's Kentucky Dark Star & KDS Coffee are killer & I have fingers crossed to score some B-bomb reg & variants when I'm out there later this month. Barleywine variants with adjuncts can be stellar when done properly

What is this ChicagoBusinessPoliticsAdvocate? To get us back on track, see below. I know it's a porter, but isn't a porter really just another name for a type of stout anyways?

I believe it's a Winter Warmer. But I also believe I could not tell you what the difference between those styles is.

The Whole Foods on Ashland has 12 oz pours of Triple Barrel B Baptist for $6 if you're in the mood. 2016 Darkness for $5.

Binny’s LP had about 4 cases on the floor at approx. 11:00am. Limit 1. Saw another place list it on IG. Can’t remember where.

Sump has officially entered the "good beer that's no longer worth hunting down/paying a premium for" category for me.

Joining such luminaries as HopSlam, KBS, Bomb!, Abraxas, Sunday Morning Stout, Old Viscosity....

No clue, but it's been north of $20 in the past.

I don't mind paying a premium for a great beer, but after drinking it last year I made the decision that my $20 would be better spent elsewhere.

I had it once on tap last year and missed the bottles, so I will seek out one for sure.

I am sensitivity to bitter, so non-BA coffee stouts to me are not necessarily my thing but...

I donmt get the love for sump. It's well done, but it's just kind of 1 or 2 Note for me. Coffee, and stout. That's about it. Nothing fancy to warrant the price point or chasing it down.
