What do you do for a living, BAs?

Do my best at giving my boss the impression that I'm overworked, underpaid, and irreplaceable. Automotive Engineer plotting a meager retirement.

Retail clerk, I have to bite my tongue whenever people are buying budweiser or men are buying Red's. And then when people ask if the 4% abv Epic Brewery stuff is good I'm just like BRUH

 

I work for big beer, and I scout for craft breweries that are desperate to sell out.

 

Anesthesia student - just making my way through school.

 

Had a switch of jobs recently, so now a mechanical engineer for an aerospace company. Working on space technologies, primarily.

 

I work hard at doin' nothin' all day.

 

I'm an archaeologist at a museum in Massachusetts. I catalog artifacts all day.

 

I'm a CNC operator/program maker for a shop that provides tools to auto makers and I believe some aerospace companies. (Most of the time we don't know exactly what a tool is working on, we just get the specs)

 

I am a nursing home/assisted living administrator 30+ years. I do beer tasting with my assisted living friends. Age is 85 years old plus. They grew up on Bud, Schlitz, Hamms, Miller High Life etc. They like my nut browns best. It is a fun time. I have friends that remember prohibition and the stance their family had. One gal told me during a tasting "don't tell my Dad, we were a temperance family". Gotta love em! Cheers!

I may have replied to this years ago, but not much has changed. 8th grade American History teacher and coach. Although, I defy the stereotype by actually putting effort into teaching.

I'm an Engineer with an Oilfield Service company in Houston. Been doing that for about 10 years. I have an interest in real estate so I recently became a licensed agent.
Love how the local brewery scene has grown over the last few years. Looking to read up on what other cities and breweries have to offer.

 

My business card says Service and Installation Manager for an HVACR company. In reality, I am an overpaid gopher that drinks bud light with the boss and drives him home from the bar.

Prior to that I was a foreman at a forge, a QC supervisor, limo driver, and still work with my father doing artificial wood grain for antique cars.

 

Still retired. I'm an ex beer and wine professional and pay close attention to modern beer, wine, and spirits consumption.
