Stopped by for two crowlers last night, had one, Texture of Life, which was a nice and spritzy, grainy saison. Had Pop Snap Crackle which was just ok imo but Wayward Tiramisu was a very crushable desert.

How much were they charging for crowlers? What was the cost for the can?

Umm, hmm, I need to find my receipt, it was 45 total for two crowlers plus an 8oz of pop snap crackle and an 8oz of the cask. So I figure like 10 bucks for the drafts and then 35 for the 64oz of beer of which one was the blueberry dipa and the other was the pinot saison.

Never heard of anyone charge for a crowler besides the fill...be pretty lame if they did

I don't think they did just standard Tired Hands pricing but I can't find an itemized receipt so not positive. I know that beers over 8% jump up in fill pricing though so could have been 20 and 15?

Hmm yeah I'm curious now. I know the double IPAs are usually 18 for a 32oz growler when I've got them in the past

It was 20 flat for a crowler of the blueberry DIPA on tap today. Was decent, but nothing special.

Having that right now, blueberry really comes out but wish it had more body.

    $20 for a 32oz crowler?!?! That's cold blooded.

That is insane. I wonder if the price range is what causes them to lose some business. I haven’t been there in ages and this is one of the reasons. I can’t be the only one.

FWIW every week I read about folks waiting in line for the can releases. It does not appear that high prices are affecting folks from traveling to Tired Hands.

    Cheers!

Yeah wish I would have looked at that pricing a little closer before purchase, that's the equivalent of $40 a 4 pack, Tired Hands getting that secondary market pricing first hand.

Almost pulled the trigger on a $12.75 crowler of Wish Fulfillment at the Hulmeville Inn yesterday. Granted, the place is notoriously low-priced, but it’s funny to get Tired Hands considerably more affordably away from the source than at it.

Wish fulfillment is only a single ipa so wouldn’t be $18 for a 32 at the source either

No, but I believe it would be around $15.

I think It is 10.50 for a lower abv and like 18 for a higher abv

Is that inclusive of the can itself?

Not sure - I was curious what the up charge for cans is as well.

Yeah, I didn't know the crowlers was $20 until I had already purchased it. My fault. Although I'm not sure what's more egregious: the $20 for 32oz or the $70 for the new magnum. I would be much happier spending $20 on a 375 of the same beer, but passed on the magnum. They're just inconvenient.

Has anyone opened the $70 magnum yet? I enjoyed the $50 one.
