It's drinking great right now. Thanks to the sale I have a few more bottle and will definitely lay one or two of them down for a while. But this is one beer my wine-drinking GF can really get into so I plan to buy and drink as much of this as I can!

How will that be executed since I already see the full amount on my bank statement?

I bought 2 bottles so I'd be expecting (2)*($5)*(0.85)=$8.50 back (and also shouldn't have paid tax on that, so $9.35).

I totally agree. Yount was a standout for me and really graduated from Turo (although Turo is a Terreux release). It's ready to drink now and bend people's minds as to what the heck is in their glass.

Any tasting notes on the two cuvées? How sour was Terreux?

Thanks for the info. Any chance on another round of HS Growlers? This is totally going to ruin my vertical.

Dammit! Okay. I give up. What's the secret? How do you pour these crowlers into a glass without dribbling down the front of the can?

I've tried fast pours, slow pours... But unless the can is two thirds or less full a little stream keeps running down the outside at the base of the opening. Argh!!!

I think someone said poking a hole on the lid opposite the mouth works.

I usually just poke a hole on the side, and shotgun the damn thing! Works best with High ABV Barrel Aged beers.

Great point....since this feels more like a wine to me, laying it down for storage would make more sense. Any opposing opinions?

Is there a way to order extra society merch? Would like another opener and glass if possible.

We only have enough Whalesharks per members. More 2018 glassware is coming!

You can always order a whale shark directly from them with a custom engraving or a Firestone Walker branded one from FW. I was just looking at their store and saw that they are made from the staves of old bourbon barrels, I missed that detail. It's a great opener.

The ones included for 2018 Reserve Society and Hoarders Society members were made out of Black Tuesday barrels that then went to Bruery Terreux for Tart of Darkness.

What about the 32oz growlers? I was on the fence about grabbing one but once I finally decided to pull the trigger, they were gone. /sad trombone sound

    Thanks!
