made my first trip to the Balmoral tap room last night, fun spot. I got to try Sailors Kush & the nose was incredible! the most topical fruit I can remember on the nose of any beer I've tried. Makes me regret missing out on cans, hopefully it will be making a return appearance soon

Cracked my first of the muled Fluorescent 4 pack last night - I know...should have had it sooner (11/30 canning) but still awesome. Cheers, miss HA, and miss this thread as a live-time event during my time in Chicago.

Plane wave is an extreme crusher. Hop profile is beautiful. The bitterness is low. The malt is light.

I accidentally drank 3 last night. For someone who rarely reaches for the same beer twice in a row, that’s high praise

Hell yea, Plane Wave is extremely good. Actually had to go back and grab another four pack after I realized how quick I was drinking them!

Glad this is coming back. One of my favorite HA IPAs from this past year. It was so juicy. And one of their best looking cans (besides Sticky Fat).

Came across a big old tower of Plane Wave today. Glad to see it get distro down here. Enjoying one right now. This is a great Half Acre IPA. Drinkable, crisp, beautiful citrus/tropical nose - I love when that smell hits you as soon as you pop the can.

Both tap rooms have “Indefinite Portal” on tap, a galaxy hopped pale ale that clocks in at 4.9%. It’s outstanding and very hazy. Not New England, just a crushable pale full of that galaxy flavor. Also Now and Then might be my new favorite half acre IPA. Who ever came up with that recipe is exceptionally talented. Perfectly balanced, world class. Will be buying more 4 packs.
