Good morning BA, have a great Sunday! Another usual day with bottle returns and laundry. Might get a haircut as well, it is getting out of control after only a month!

Fantastic Gose as always. Flavors of tart/sour cherry, lemon, lime, green apple, wheat, cracker, coriander, sea salt, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Moderate fruity/lactic tart/sourness and lightly spicy/tannic fruit finish. Balanced cherry/lacto acidity, salinity, and grainy wheat creaminess in the mouthfeel. Highly drinkable and refreshing, slightly puckering. One of my all time favorites in the style. I drank over a case in thr last year. Does not feel quite as lactically sour this year, but still fantastic and easier drinking. Got 2 bottles left, will probably get more. Still available.

Fantastic pale ale, glad these are back this year. Flavors of huge tangerine, pineapple, peach, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, grapefruit, berry, citrus rind, light pepper, and pine hops; with moderate honey, lightly toasted bread malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine, cirtus peel, herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body and fairly crisp; balanced grainy malt creaminess and hop stickiness in the mouthfeel. Light resins/rinds, light-moderate increasing bitter dryness, zero hop astringency. Very juicy and dank hops; nice bready malt backbone, not too bitter or dry. Spot on for a pale ale. Will definitely grab more soon, still super fresh. Need to try their new Mykiss IPA as well. Will probably pick that up today. Simcoe, Citra, Amarillo, Columbus, and Mosaic hops.

Amazing saison! Aromas and flavors of big tart lemon, lime, orange, green apple, peach, pear, pineapple, white grape, melon, citrus peel, peppercorn, oak, hay, straw, grass, and leathery/musty funk; with moderate wheat/crackery malts; touch of white wine vinegar and yeasty earthiness. Moderate peppery yeast/oak tannin spiciness, wine tang, and lactic tartness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body and moderately crisp finishing. Balanced bready/grainy malts, stickiness, oak tannins, tang, and lactic acidity in the mouthfeel. Moderate increasing tart/tangy/spicy dryness; no pucker/astringency. Very easy drinking. Wonderful well rounded fruity/funky Brett/Lacto complexity, great oak presence, and solid malt backbone. Just as delicious as I remember. Reviewed it a couple years ago. Glad I picked up another one randomly. Reminds me of Gueuze in a lot of ways, but still tastes like a saison. They don't vintage date the bottles anymore.

Glad I was able to find this one. Pricey bottle, but that has never stopped me before. This was awesome! Aromas and flavors of big dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, brown sugar, molasses, licorice, raisin, plum, prune, leather, tobacco, whiskey, toasted oak, smoke, charcoal, nuttiness, dark bread, herbal/floral/piney hops, and light coconut/vanilla. Light-moderate roast/char/herbal/pine bitterness and whiskey/oak tannin spiciness on the finish. Medium carbonation and full bodied. Creamy, silky, bready, grainy malt mouthfeel; some chalky roast, sticky hops, and whiskey/oak tannins. Light-moderate increasing hop/roast/char bitterness and tannic oak dryness, never acrid/astringent. Mildly increasing warmth of 14%, no barrel booze. Very smooth sipper. Been a long time since I had the XS imperial stout, but looking at my review 4 years ago it is definitely the base beer. Very unique profile, not like anything I've had before. Nice mix of fruitiness, whiskey barrel, and smokey/charred malts; with nice earthy hop presence. Still fits the base Russian imperial stout profile extremely well. Not any more impressive than the base beer, but really glad I gave it a shot. Was worth it IMO. Getting better as it warms up to room temp. 4.1

Body may be a little light, but incredible hop aroma/taste for such a low ABV Session IPA. To make things even more impressive, that can was canned May 2017. Still so much hop flavour in there.

This is now my favorite beer. I have only had 2 beers by The Brewing Projekt, but it is now my favorite brewery. My Royal Rumble winner predictions for tonight are: Shinsuke Nakamura and Ronda Rousey.

    Morning all, starting with a jolt . . .

Deep amber gold color with white cap.

Fairly strong scent of sharp, piney hops. There's rich malt in the background but hops dominate.

Taste on entry is hop forward with malt trailing behind. The hops shine with sharp brilliance yet remain somehow restrained. At 97 IBU they could be stomping in like a herd of elephants but they don't, rather a solid but slowly cadenced march. Malt really can't compete with hops on this level yet they stand with a united front that shows they have stuff of their own. The 9.5 % doesn't present a trace of alcohol flavor which helps make this beer easily drinkable.

Hey my beer is giving me the finger.
This is a Russian imperial stout from the good folks at Castle Island Brewing Company called One.

The stout is not bad, it’s very good in fact. I’ll attempt to review it in NBS, I’m a better drinker then a reviewer.
