Todays beer is a fantastic Juicy Pale Ale by Brotherton Brewing

Green Earth Pale Ale - Canned 1/22/18

This is such a lovely Pale Ale. Med in body, smooth, juicy and very fruity. Not only are the the hops being showcased in the aroma but also a very pleasant fruity and bubblegum character from the yeast.

I really like this beer!

Yeah haha. Although to be honest, a lot of local macro beers over there also come in 2 liter plastic bottles. You can probably imagine how they taste... One last thing about abv. I remember when we were visiting some family in the deep country for a week. I explicitly remember my relatives there making kvass light yellow in color and much more alcoholic (maybe near 8% based on taste). Man, what I would do now to get my hands on that now, at least out of curiosity.

Drives me nuts when people do that. There is also another guy on here who takes filters to the extreme and even puts a black and white background to make the beer stand out more. Dont recall his name at the moment. Anyhow,

Who would want to filter that ?

 

This is softening a bit with a week on it, Much needed after a garbage couple of days.

 

This got a lot better rating than I gave it. Perhaps I am not a fan of overly bitter beer. Sad that it is brewed in VA and I cannot rave about it.

Eagles in the Superbowl...just got a bonus check...this calls for a Jewbelation. Badass beer. Drinks like a 10%.

 

Haha....no, that is a myth, sadly....the amount of wormwood (potential psycho-active herb) that would have to be in Absinthe to give someone hallucinations, would be an impossible amount....if you drink of a few ounces of this potent stuff, you would get pretty wacked

 

Oskar Blue's Old Chub.......Very solid scotch ale.

 

So what did you think? That's one I enjoy and buy every so often. Usually about 3 weeks old.
