What are the odds of finding a ticket at this point in the game? I emailed a guy off CL and he wanted a CBS and only that.

It's a little over three weeks away. Wait until the week before when people stop holding them for hostage and are willing to let them go for reasonable offers since they don't want to be out money.

I thought they were non-transferable since you had to put a name on them at purchase?

I thought that was debunked in the last FOBAB thread and the tickets were just session specific?

No Half Acre this year but Atlas will be bringing a very tasty sounding Tawny-Port oaked Black Ale

Jared Rouben confirmed at last night's Wood and Barrel Aged Beer Academy that Goose Island Clybourn will be serving XOCOLATL at FoBAB this year, along with several other offerings that he is very excited to reveal at the event.

Nice, I never got to try that before. They say when they would officially announce anything? The Suspense is killing me!

IIRC, he just said 'soon' last night in reference to when they would be announcing plans. I was a few beers into the event by that time.

If they are sitting on anything even close to that BBL Dopplebock we had last night, we're all in for some amazing shit.

Jared noted that he doesn't like announcing the list of beers he brings to events in advance.

I tend to agree with him - the 'surprise' element adds to the experience of opening that FoBAB program not knowing what is in store for the day.

so ill be a first time attendee this year. I have one of the infamous "UNLABELED TIME TICKETS". So should I go to the 1pm session or the 6? Ive heard from folks that the 1 is better because they announce the winners then? So at the 6pm everyone goes flocking for the good'ns and theyre gone?

1pm is just too damn early for my tastes, but whats the consensus here?

I found myself mildly enjoying 312 Brett at the block party, I've brought shame to my family.

The bar code has a time assigned to it. If I were you, I'd call and find out which one you have.

Yep. The bar code is assigned to what you originally picked. If you picked the afternoon originally, then your bar code is only for the afternoon.

So does anyone remember when they announced breweries in the past? I thought I remember an initial list out a month before on the website

I bet you were the kid that spent all December looking for your presents and then on Christmas morning were unsurprised and bored opening the gifts.
