An exceptional brew that really shows off why Cloudwater is so hyped. Incredibly hoppy, juicy, zesty aroma/taste of citrus and tropical fruit with an intense, almost acidic and astringent bitterness. Total palate wrecker, but worth it.

I anticipated this would keep well overnight for a pleasant second pour today.

Wasn't sure if I would like this. I was leary of a sixer of 9.3% imperial stout for the reasonable price of $11.99. I thought it might be a generic flavored boozy mess but I was wrong. It has good coffee and chocolate flavor. I can taste the hops in this stout. Tastes like it was brewed with quality ingredients. Nice body and feel for a big beer. Hides the abv. Easy to drink. I guess you don't have to come in an over priced 4 pack or bomber to be outstanding after all.

Half Acre Daisy Cutter. Giving this one another try, as my palate was shot on the first one and it wasn’t fully chilled. Definitely tasting much better this time. Cheers!

Clear light gold color with rapidly disappearing white cap.

Mild aroma of honeyed malt backed by slightly spicy floral hops.

Taste is much richer than the nose implies. It's really more than mild and, although simple, is certainly no light brew although it may please those who like lite beer generally. Hops are present in more a flavoring sense than a bittering one, just enough to balance the malt. Finish is clean and refreshing.

Light medium texture with balancing carbonation.

Pleasant and pleasing, no complaints here, it's clearly above the ordinary.

I never liked CotD before when I've had it, but thought I'd give this variant a try.

It's actually not bad. It's got a unique flavor profile, but I feel like there's some conflict between the base beer and the adjuncts. It wants to be dry and roasty. But also creamy, rich and sweet. And earthy. It just never comes together in a unified way. But I would say I like the beer more than I remember. (Haven't had in a couple years.)
