Did you end up getting any? How was it?

 

Haven't really tried a ton of stuff from Monkish, but will have some time on Saturday while the wife is getting her haircut in the South Bay to jet over and have a few pints. Whats the crowd like on a Saturday around noon or 1pm?

Also, do they fill blank 64oz growlers with the screw top? The last I remember it was always swing tops that they filled.

 

If no release or post a few hours after release, it's not terrible. The tasting room is small though so even with just a few people, it's pretty crowded.

They do fill blank growlers, yes. Bring your own cap. They don't have those. Alternatively, just pick up their 750mL growlers. So you can fill multiple things if you like multiple beers.

 

Yea i ended up getting a glass or two. I had went closer to the end of the night with a bit of elbow room. But I had various friends post all day and it looked like a can release just to get in

 

This batch is insane, was told that the Citra in this was some of the highest quality Citra Henry has gotten in a long time.

Agreed; had some on Sunday and had to get a growler for a second go. Love that beer.

 

Picked up a growler on Sunday, fantastic beer.

 

I'm more interested in the next Eventbrite bottle release. Hasn't been one since Spectacles I believe.

 

Looks like the Trillium/Monkish collab is probably dropping this week. What's the over/under on record amount of baby strollers, grandma mules and kids running around with iPads saying "I'm boredddddddd"?

 

Maybe Monkish should just expand into an abandoned fast food restaurant with a playhouse?

 

Complaining about kids in strollers is so 2017. 2018 has a focus on complaining that Monkish needs to expand.

After a couple beers I would be down to jump into those ball pits and go down slides. Kinda wish we were allowed to at Bruery anniversary but those security guards that stand in front of it are tough to convince. =P

They were collabing on Jan 13th so should be this week or next.

 

Well, hopefully it's better than that mango thing they did a couple of years ago.

 

A new growler beer today, guess that means no cans. You guys can leave the parking lot now.
