So many haters in this thread. It’s like people think they know everything because they been drinking beer longer than others. If he wants to be the biggest monkish fanboy ever and wait in line for hours then let him be. It’s his life, let him live his and you guys do you. If he thinks monkish beers are the GOAT then that’s his opinion. Just like you guys think he’s everything wrong about the “craft beer life/game” so are you guys. Jesus Christ it’s just beer. Honestly, I’m loving the guy cause he’s just being himself and it’s getting to some of you guys and that’s entertaining as hell.

 

Maybe PacBoy should start his own FanBoy club.

It's not as intense as you're making it sound, he's just irritating--the childish bro-speak, etc. It's why BA has an Ignore button, which I wish I could use without losing the thread (!)

 

You’re making it sound intense as if he’s impossible to ignore. Either don’t read his posts or create a new thread. I can see how his posts can irritate some people but he’s still entitled to it. Like he has a right to state his opinion as long as he’s not insulting others or being offensive to anyone and I haven’t seen that at all

 

@HopHead89 isn’t the problem with monkish. The problem is all the dudes profiting off monkish.for the most part I think he drinks his cans or shares them with friends. He is just young and dumb, if he wants to wait in line for cans, so be it. After awhile he will get tired of it, and find other things to do.

 

Actually, at this point, he is impossible to Ignore (functionally speaking), which is my point. You know what tI'm talking about with the Ignore button, right? Also, this is a privately-owned community, not the public square . . . the mods can decide whether someone is constructively contributing or not.

 

Yeah I know what you are talking about. Just let the mods decide then. I don’t know he’s causing any harm and if anything I think he’s contributed some to this thread and others. Does he have to talk in his bro language or type the way he does? I mean I don’t care for it but it doesn’t bother me. Maybe that’s his way of dealing with all the criticism he’s getting of being a fanboy. Who knows....but if he’s being destructive to this thread then I’m sure the mods will deal with it

My theory is that hophead is actually catchy_name who finally tried hazy IPAs and liked them, and it scrambled his brain

Funny, David is an original, and he has history too. I've drank with the man on more than a few occasions, btw, Guns is a very generous advocate of the beer community, thats really David. OG BA from way back, he's almost as old as me !!!!

How old are you guys? It seems like you think you are in your 50’s and 60’s. I am 36, and started drinking Karl Strauss in high school as I had a friend with a fake id and in college when they had $2 pints on Thursdays at Universal.

 

I can guarantee you both Guns and I are older than you !
