I know I know - I looked back on my flurry of posts and cringed a little. Was on a massive post-sanctimonious high

While we're sharing highlights of the morning, my favorite moment was the professional line sitter/delivery person next to me mentioning she's snagging a full allotment for someone and that she would need to check the allotments of other line dudes in order to have someone snag her a 4pk.

Even line dudes have line dudes! *mind blown*

Showed up around 11:30...grabbed two four packs of 4th anni and a 32oz fill of 3rd. The whole process took about 10 minutes. No complaints here

Insta is claiming 4th is almost sold out. Is that true?

I don't know how you were able to get a 32oz growler of third in that amount of time. I was in the tap room and there were at least 20 growlers on the bar. Good on you if it was expedited. The tap room was so crowded and so smelly.

Wow crazy that it could sell out I was 500 in line and there were maybe 80 people that arrived after me from time of arrival to time of purchase.

Sold out of all cans. I'm sorry if I gave anyone any false hope.

If the quantity count was correct - pretty crazy they got through that amount of 4th so quickly. Was sure it would last into the night

In the taproom now. Snagged one of the last 4 packs. 3 guys walked in the garage after me and bought the remaining half case or so.Glad I decided not to wait any longer.

Guy who sold me the 4 pack said they spent 2 days canning. 8 pallets of 4th. Gone in like 5 hours.

They moved the tables and chairs out to fit more people. Brings back memories of the old tap room with everyone standing around. Looks like thst have the actual brewery space in the back open too.

In non OH-related can news, just grabbed a 4 pack of sip of sunshine from gowanus Whole Foods for 11.99! Not a bad consolation prize if you missed out today.

    Not at all!

Also for consolation (or just because it's a damn good beer), there was a ton of wrench by Industrial Arts at good beer canned January twenty something.

I wasn't hell bent to got 4th, had something to do this morning. With 800 cases and the optimism in this thread I pointed the car west at about 2pm and headed to OH. Drove right by the garage at around 3pm , it was open and figured I would get beer no problem, I wouldn't do it but was very tempted to park on Smith and roll in very quickly, but didn't. Found a spot about 5 minutes away, go to Centre Street and garage was closed, shocked they were out !! Must have missed out by a couple of minutes. Did realize Peter Pan was on my way home and luckily didn't get shut out of my favorite kind of donuts.

Some (accurate) stats. As a result of that post:

    79 BAs spent a collective
    243 hours driving, and
    $1341 on gas, for
    0 beers

Anyone know what the wording printed on the bottom of 4th is? Mine are all smudged.

Because of his broken calculator I spent about $10 on gas, 2 hours of driving, nothing on tolls. I did though however get donuts, so that needs to count for something and factored in. Also, I never really had FOMO, but I do now have a small case of ROMO ( Reality of Missing Out) , that needs to be factored in. I would have him do the math on this to calculate what I actually lost, but his credibility now is suspect at best !

Nice!! Peter Pan is the Other Half of the donut world, lines, running out of stuff, although not sure if anyone has slept on the sidewalk over night. Maybe there is a www.donutadvocate.com, FT:Voodoo Donuts ISO: Peter Pan donuts.

I blew it this morning, got there around 7:30 am and walked out with the same allotment many got with no wait after 3 hours.

Annoyed that third anni sold out and I’ll never wait on a line at Other Half again but holy shit 4th anni might be the best beer I’ve ever had, hoppy bitter juicy pineapple and grapefruit.
