Moderate to vigorous pour yields a 3/4 inch creamy white head over a cloudy golden body with some fleeting lacing. Very nice nose of tropical fruit and orange. Taste mirrors nose and finishing rather bitter. Soft feel with little carb. Overall, yet another IPA that I don't need to have again. Cheers!

Climbing the Mountain

I always take super bowl Monday off from work just in case of over drinking and eating on Sunday....woke up to some cheese from Nayarit, Mexico in the mountain farming region that my parents brought back. So got a nice beer so I can have a great breakfast.

Taking full advantage of my 3-day weekend with a wonderful brown ale. Reminiscent of Smuttynose’s Durty, has a nice hop presence but unmistakably malty, caramel, hints of coffee and chocolate. Really nice, gonna have to pick up another 4 of this.

Unsurprisingly dead at the bar today, huh?

 

Taking a snow day off work tonight. Drinking local, Great River Madam X Mosaic Red IPA.

I'll be here all day. Monday's my "Sunday" and I got a lot of stuff to do and a lot of beer to help me do it (picture taken about an hour ago after grocery shopping).

 

One more before I make myself useful.

 

This stuff is really nice, the new local friend I made has treated me well.
