You lost me with all the abbreviation

 

The Cost of Goods Sold is higher in New York than Richmond so that's why the prices are higher. The cost of real estate and shipping raw materials into NYC has to be quite a bit more than most other cities.

 

4th anniversary is delicious, but definitely the epitome of the one and done high ABV NEIPA (even though I had two). So intense and pretty sweet.

I had a forever ever at the upstairs bar at WF Gowanus earlier today while my kid played in the play area - the stuff tasted like water; in a good way

 

And to fill in any still-existing gaps - “Master of Business Administration” and “Other Half”

Even still, 17.50 for a 10% IPA is still a great price for a non-giant or backed brewery.

 

Has anyone posted a video of people lining up at 10pm the night before that we can laugh at yet?

oh my, that 4th anniversary is some ridiculous beer. I got a growler of the 3rd to remind me (haven't cracked it yet), but it seems to have that same amount of 'holy shit this can't be 10%' to it that the 3rd had/has.

i'd do a side by side, but after superbowl festivities i can't even fathom it..

 

Love Short Dark and Wired, can't wait for that beer. Was Forever Simcoe not a Simcoe-only beer always?

 

their site has DDH and regular Forever Simcoe as Simcoe only.

They also have released a Simcoe + Wai-iti IPA before, which is also an 8.5% IPA..wonder if they're different.

 

I think it’s just a mistake, they used the Simcoe + Wai-Iti description instead of Forever Simcoe.

 

Now we're talking. Has anyone side-by-sided ACE with the Triangle Test beers? I'm curious how they would compare, since hop profiles are ~same.

 

Wish I had more fridge space, my friend just sent me King Citra from Fieldwork, would be fun to do a side by side with ACE.
