Inaugural Rookie BIF Hints and Hauls Thread

I keep running into the Rush documentaries that have been playing on Showtime and AXIS.

I can understand why she couldn't go, but I don't understand why you had to miss it.

 

2.5 hour drive each way to Buffalo. Would likely have to spend the night and had just closed on a house. There were a lot of things going on at that time. Plus, I did get to see them on the Clockwork Angels Tour, so I did get to see them before they quit.

Hint #4! Your state may be quite small, but it is more populous than my own state!
Hint #5! Nine Inch Nails' drummer (circa 89-97) was born on the day that you joined Beer Advocate (though not in that year)!

 

Hint 3: As of this post, you have not been eliminated as my possible sender (that is, if you weren't my target, you would still be in the running as my sender)

 

Hint 3: of the 23 people taking part in this BIF, you're the only one from your state

 

Hint 5: There are two of you from the same state in this BIF

 

Hint #6: The Appalachian Trail goes through my target’s state

If you ask me, there is really only one great lake. The others are just very good lakes

 

Hint 1: target's state touches a large body of water
Hint 2: target's username is longer than mine
Hint 3: you are not the only BA participating from your state

 

This is a very sensible take. Though I might argue whether Erie qualifies as very good. It's just sort of OK.

 

Actually Erie is the only one I consider Great. Quality over quantity. The other lakes are too showy

 

I think this should be the last hint needed for my target.

Hint #6: The man in this picture went to high school in your town (at least according to Wikipedia, which is the most ironclad source of information on the internet).

 

Ahah! I didn't even need a paperclip to figure that puzzle out! I think you must be my sender, sir! Well-played!

 

Hint 1: I’m shipping west, which should help no one since I live on Long Island.
Hint 2: target’s state has teams in all four major sports.
Hint 3: target’s city is the same as the last name of a semi-prominent singer from the 80s.

 

Decision time, target: would you like a bomber of barrel-aged Darkness, or would you prefer a couple of smaller format cans/bottles in your package?

Only like this post if you would prefer a bomber of BA Darkness versus a couple of small format beers!

 

I’m very close to accusing you of ruining my porch. It seems like it could be a few others as well but figured I might as well put it out there while your package is enroute.
