    With the freezing rain this evening, discretion played the better part of valor and I skipped a can release. Hopefully, some will be left tomorrow. In the meantime, this NE IPA from Lone Eagle Brewing really exceeded my expectations. Well-balanced fruit and bitterness. Cheers!

    No beer today.enjoying myself in the local hospital. Ihave copd and came down w a horrible cough. Diagnosis RVS ? Hopefully beer tomorrow

    Outstanding, and yes from the Louise Hy-vee. I was checking out their beer list when the guy offers it to me for $1, so I got an excellent beer and a free bottle. I noted it had been bottled a month earlier, so I figured it might be a drain pour. But it was still well carbonated, and tastes great. Doesn't really taste much like bacon, more like hickory smoke - but still outstanding.

    This is a collaboration between Stillwater Artisanal and Blackberry Farm Brewery called Sensibility. It's a "mixed culture farmhouse ale aged in French oak." I'll be the first review.
