What's that have to do with behavior at beer can releases at breweries? LA has Skid Row SF has the Tenderloin. We can do that all day.

 

I just think it's funny how people - especially from SF or other northern cities - are so quick to put down LA and try to make judgement calls. yes, we have douchebags and dick heads here. but sorry, so do you guys. you guys have assholes beating people up at sports events, meathead drunks at breweries, on and on...

someone on the Modern Times Facebook group made a comment about graffiti in the restroom at the Dojo, and how that's an "only in LA" type thing. which is hilarious

I'm not defending people at Monkish lines. they are idiots. but to generalize about it being a city thing is not really accurate. if you go to other can releases down here they are much different (like HPB for instance)

 

Specifically referring to Monkish can releases which is why I posted what I said in only the Monkish thread. I apologize for any confusion. I'm originally from Virginia and have lived in SF for 17 years, but definitely don't involve myself in any SF vs. LA arguments as I find them ridiculous.

All good. I am admittedly a little defensive when it comes to what I think is people ripping on LA. I will spare you the long rant, but I have a long rant for it. The short version though is, unless you are from somewhere like Hawaii or some other tropical paradise, or possibly Paris or NY, you don’t really have much business criticizing Los Angeles.

 

I lived in San Francisco for a few years for work and saw my fair share of bums shitting on the street in the Tenderloin. Saw rats running in and out of the shops in Chinatown. Friend got mugged twice in the Mission. The city is a gross place.

 

Only in the Monks thread. And maybe a little in the Rev thread. Maybe it's the haze thing?
