I think it's ok. Not as good as some people think and not as bad as the others.

It's in my top 5... worst non-infected beers I've ever had.

I agree with this...I will never drink another pumpkin beer because this ruined fall beers for me. If someone even orders that at a bar ill walk across the room to get away from it.

Still have a bottle in the beer fridge, haven't had it yet.
This one seems to be about as polarizing as Creme Brulee.
I doubt it can be as good as Elysian's The Great Pumpkin though.

It's different. For me, it actually tastes like a slice of pumpkin pie. I even get a taste of graham cracker at the finish.

Sounds like there's a chance I'll like it; I love pumpkin pie. Should I top it with whipped cream?

There are some great pumpkin ales out there, but to this day I've never had anything close to Pumking. It's soo unique. That being said, I've still never tried Schlafly's. But ST Pumking is one of my all time favorite beers, period.

I looked forward to Pumking ever since I tried the Creme Brulee Stout (probably my absolute favorite), but it didn't live up to the hype, for me. However, it was still by far one of the best bottled pumpkin beers that I've tried and I ended up buying 2 more.

Pumking rules. Last year was a tad different, but this years is great. Going to try and find a bottle or two for Thanksgiving, but thanks to an early release they're all nearly gone :slight_frown:

I must admit, not my favorite! I feel like Elysian Night Owl does it more subtly. Nevertheless, if you want that bangout pumpkin pie flavor, Southern Tier does it well.

Schlafly and Good Gourd are the best pumpkin ales hands down. Uinta Oak Jacked is a close 2nd. I can stomach about 2/3 of a bomber of Pumking per year. That's about it. To each their own though...

I have a thing for spiced beers and I like Pumking a lot. A local retailer filled a growler for me the other day for 16 bucks. Great guy, but I don't know how I'm going to drink it by myself...
