Here in a couple weeks I'm going to put an ISO post out there for some of the typical Vermont beers. I'm wanting to do it in one trade and to get a nice mix of beers and breweries.
So my question is does the average beer trader in Vermont have access to most of the more sought after breweries.
    Alchemist
    Hill Farmstead
    Second Fiddle
    Anything up and coming

    Hoping for some good info.
    Thanks and cheers

Fiddlehead is two hours from Alchemist and three hours from Hill Farmstead.
Alchemist is an hour from Hill Farmstead

    So the answer is depends.

Every time I have traded for Heady I have also received some other good VT beers.

I live right on the VT border in NH. I typically buy releases from Alchemist, Hill Farmstead, Lawson's Finest and make my way to Burlington once in a while for SF/Foam or buy SF retail.
Stuff from Foley, Frost, Lost Nation etc. are pretty much available at the beer stores I check out in White River/Woodstock/Waterbury/Montpelier.

I think that a good portion of beer traders in VT will have brews from a variety of the popular VT brewers.
Fiddlehead is about 1 hour from Alchemist, I do that trip often. Just over 40 miles. And Hill Farmstead is 45m-1hour from Alchemist depending on the weather. Only gets tricky if your adding in a trip to the Warren Store for Lawson's bottles.

Just in case you didn't see previous posts in this forum.... DO NOT ship beer to VT via FedEx!! Even if your partner said he/she has never had any problems before, don't (I learned it the hard way). Some of the hubs and many drivers are vigilant in looking for suspected beer packages and will open to inspect and return to sender. Good luck.

This is true, UPS or USPS seem to not be an issue. A lot of my packages travel through hubs in VT. I also had one issue with FedEx Lebanon, NH hub. Package on its way to me stopped and sent back. They would not let me pick it up. I now request that senders don't use FedEx.

Oddly, when I send out and the items won't fit in USPS shippers I use FedEx and have never had a problem. This is a FedEx in VT (closest location to me).
