Found Serendipity in 12 ounce bottles at Metcalfe’s in Madison. Surprise!

I haven't been there in a few weeks but I think it's safe to say there are still a ton of R&Ds at the brewery.

Was there a little over a week ago and there was still lots of R&D. Still had hometown blonde as well.

Just got an update that Rhubarb will be making a 6 month comeback in April while Serendipity takes a hiatus.

Hey all. Friend is in WI and is asking what I want brought back. He's probably hitting up Woodmans in Madison or Kenosha on Sunday. What Thumbprint stuff or 4 packs will he likely encounter that I should go for? I already requested a 4 of Belgian Red. Thanks for any intel and advice!

Sorry, just looked at the schedule like a smart person. Looks like no problem finding four packs of Belgian Red or Serendipity. I assume Cranbic is still easily found?

Last week, I saw 4pks of Serendipty and Raspberry Tart at Woodman's in Kenosha. I don't recall seeing 4pks of Belgian Red there (edit: I'm not sure 4pks of Belgian Red have been released yet. There were 750 ml bottles there which may have been the Belgian Red. I'm not certain however). There was Cranbic, which I heartily recommend. Cans of Two Women were there too if you are so inclined. Enjoy the New Glarus. Cheers.

I am a big fan of Snowshoe. Irish Red is a style that doesn't get a lot of love, and it really is a great winter beer. Moderate maltiness, nice earthy and spicy hops, and crisp drinkabilty (yet oddly warming) make for a perfect beer when it's cold (or a great transitional beer to Spring in the case of current weather patterns). It is probably still around even if it's not on the current calendar.

I also dig their coffee stout. It's basically pure coffee and a little on the thin side (it's not imperial), but it's got good flavor, which makes it a superb morning beer (if you're into that sort of thing).

Cabin Fever will always have a special place for me. The honey is a great touch in a bock (though I think the body lacks for the style). It's a nice drinker this time of year as well.

What is SR? I'm acronym deficient.

EDIT: I'll assume Strawberry Rhubarb unless told otherwise.

A lot of the seasonals later in the year haven't been decided yet. There's a new and an old Thumbprint coming this year that I think most people will be pretty excited about.

Anybody else think this batch of Cranbic has a little bit of a funky taste to it?

I've already gone through 2 4 packs and I love it. To me it's fruitier and less acetic than the 2016 batch. Can't say I noticed anything funky and will probably buy 2 more 4 packs in an effort to stretch some out until summer.
