    I finished my beer, then took the dogs out for their lunch time stroll around construction central (new buildings being erected on 3 sides of our building). When I came home, the mother ship had landed! I only know what is in 1 of the bubble wraps - so excited -another Jai Alai as I get down to it:

    Contract brewed now it's not very different from the original which may have been developed as a food beer from the beginning. The beer is a lightly colored, standard AAL that is a little more flavored than one would expect of it's ilk. Historically not the best brew in the city, (anybody remember Jax?) but decent enough to wash down some shellfish at the Acme Oyster House.

    La Trappe Isid’or.
    The glass does not do this beer right. It is an old La Trappe glass however. I recommend a more modern La Trappe glass for this beer, like @BeerGlassesCollector posted earlier (or something like it).

    I don't see a lot of Half Acre beer in my neck of the woods, usually just Daisy Cutter and Double Daisy Cutter, I hope I got that right. A couple weeks ago I got to try Navaja, all excellent. Low and behold, today brings "Big Hugs", a tasty 10%ABV Imperial coffee stout. Do I really care if one web site says it's an RIS, and the other says it's an American Double. It's tasty and delicious, that's all that counts!
