I love Deschutes, but, damn, those 19.whatever cans are idiotic. There's a reason the 22oz format is dyeing off, so let's can in a format that's as close to that as we can get.

I like bombers. Especially for IPAs or beers that can be consumed by one person for a good price. Better than buying the 6-pack and having the extras. Sometimes you just want a beer or two and don't want to commit on the full package. Lagunitas bombers usually fit this profile well.

But that's about as far as I go for bombers.

Fresh Squeezed will be in 12oz. cans. Those 19.2 oz. cans seem to do well in gas station coolers.

I like the 19oz cans and 22oz bombers. Either one is about the perfect amount of beer for one person.

I sell a lot of All Day IPA in stove pipes, and nobody seems to have a problem with BA Ten Fiddy in them so the format has it’s place.

Bombers are dying because consumers can do the math and see that 22oz of beer for $5 is a rip off compared to buying the same thing in a 6pk for $10. On the other hand, people can do the math and realize that 2x19.2oz cans (38.4oz) of something All Day IPA for $4 is a steal.

You just need to say, in your best Dick Van **** fake British accent:

    "I'll have a pint!"

    Then it makes sense!

12 oz Fresh Squeezed cans is exciting. It's going to replace canned Sculpin on the boat.

A rarity for me here To find it fresh, but in Tacoma I found Fresh Squeezed on tap at a tiny Mexican Resturauant, and that was a really good beer. Those 19.2 oz cans are a joke, much more practical in
12/16 oz cans. They'll stil be old though by the time they hit my shelf here.

Upslope puts their experimentals in imperial pint cans. I dig that.

Just saw canned Fresh Squeezed for the first time in the Phx area. Drink by date is 6/1. I understand Deschutes uses 120 days so this was canned around 2/1? Not exactly fresh, but fresher than the bottles I see around here...

If they're still going with those B.S. "Drink by" dates, I will continue to not buy their beer.

Cans? What’s this world coming to. No one is canning beer. Groundbreaking!
