Inaugural Rookie BIF Hints and Hauls Thread

I think we have four so far. 3 have posted what they got, and at least one other landed this week as well. Looking forward to see more! so far besides for the NY box with the sand city/other half haul, all these beers are totally new to me

 

So many new beers, already looking forward to the next BIF

 

BOOM! Box has arrived! (because I check the shipping status every hour when I ship out a box). Now to play the "patiently wait for target to post pics" game.

 

Same. I've lost one package of beer, goddamnit I'm not letting another one go.

 

Process of elimination leads me to believe that our fearless leader in this endeavor is my sender! Either that or I missed some easy clue somewhere along the way.

Correct?

Hint #2: My target currently has fewer wants than I do
Hint #3: At least 1 school from my target’s state participated in the 2017 men’s NCAA basketball tournament
Hint #4: My target has posted at least 1 hint so far
Hint #5: At least one player on the Eagles Super Bowl roster was born in my target’s state
Hint #6: The Appalachian Trail goes through my target’s state
Hint #7: My target joined BA before I did
Hint #8: My target is NOT from the same state as my sender
Hint #9: My target is the only participant from their state in this BIF

Hint #10: Although I shipped UPS my package landed in FedEx’s headquarter city today on its way to being delivered tomorrow

 

I think I've got all pairings figured out; although I'm only about 90% sure of the last two.

 

So, my target may have received a Fedex notification last night - don't get excited just yet. Temperatures here aren't ideal for shipping at the moment, so I'm going to hold off for a few days, see how this snow (believe we're in for like 5-7 inches) on Monday treats us. Looks like shipping on Thursday will be pretty safe.

 

So my target still hasn't posted anything. I checked his status and he hasn't been on BA in almost a week. Hope he isn't on vacation. Package is waiting on your doorstep and it looks like you are getting some snow also along with @Vidblain although not nearly as much.

 

@swenny916 - any word on our MIA participant? Did he provide any blackout dates or notification that he wouldn't be on BA?

Concerned about his target as well... if he's not going to be getting any beer, I'll volunteer to send something in his place.

 

Sorry for my lack of participation in the thread, but anytime I opened the thread, it opened to the third page. Until yesterday, I was wondering why nobody else was posting either. Now I feel like I need to catch up.

Hint 6: My target is the only one from his state participating in this BIF.

Side note, I am making a trip North today to hit two of the best breweries in my state, and pick you up some fresh local bottles or crowlers.

 

Not sure if he's your target, but on the top of page 4 there was someone who left a hint stating he was traveling south starting last Saturday to escape the cold weather.
