The local distributor is taking pre-orders and gave me an eta of early to mid March. As many of you know it will be brewed at Perrin, no word on what if any other CC beers will follow.

Does this mean MI brewed Jai Alai will now be mediocre too?

Hey at least it won't be brewery only.....

It will sell for two weeks then grow roots on the shelf.

Hope they learn from TG's mistakes...do it right all the way through, or not at all...

When I had it at Perrin awhile back, it didn’t taste the same. Also, the beer game has changed. Even if it tastes the same, there are a lot of good IPAs I’d rather buy. For example, I’ll take the Sam Adams east coast IPA over Jai Alai. My prediction is it will sell quickly at first. Then, it will sit on shelves.

I just had it in Florida this week and it didn't taste the same as what I remember from last year. However, at my age it could be faulty memory to blame. I'll look forward to the Michigan version to compare.

Drinking it right now and good but not totally impressed. Reminds me a lot of Stone Ghosthammer or Hercules.
Be much better if Funky Buddha distributed to Michigan instead.

I've drank Perrin-brewed Jai Alai from tap recently and found it very meh compared to the Cigar City brewed cans (of which I drank 6-7 sixers of in the past 12 months so I have a fairly recent frame of reference).

To basically completely copy and paste Tracker's post, I had Perrin Jai on tap and I had several Jai Alai's over the fall from Cigar City and it is certainly different in a not so good way.

Jai Alai has hit Jewel in Chicago. What a time to be alive.

Just drainpoured a can; date on the bottom was 2/7/18.

Had a macro / American Adjunct Lager aftertaste that was untenable for me. Either this beer is a crappy facsimile of the original, my tastes have drastically changed since i first tried the Florida version, or both.

Permanent pass on the Perrin version.

Ravenswood Marianos’s has Jai Alai currently on draft at their bar. Today began their month-long special for all drafts - $2 a pint.

I’ve never had Tampa-brewed Jai Alai but this stuff was well worth the 2 bucks.

She didn’t know whether all Mariano’s were running the $2 draft special.

Slightly off-topic but I had a can of Invasion last night and I absolutely adored it.
