Suggestions for review #1,000

    Hey BA'ers!

    I'm coming up to my #1,000 beer review and I was thinking about reviewing something special but I'm not sure what to get.

    I thought it would be fun to hear suggestions from this awesome community, so hit me up with your ideas, I would like it to be something BIG (10% ABV or greater), and extra points for beers with unusual ingredients, cheers!

    CBS, Canadian Breakfast Stout, only answer, mate. Maple syrup on top, great, great beer.

    No have tried it, I'll have to see if I can track it down as I love Breakfast Stouts and maple syrup, the only thing that's missing would be a rasher of bacon and a heart attack

    I'd suggest Avery Brewing barrel aged stouts many over 10% and very tasty. Uncle Jacobs is super.

    Would Breury Terreux Beret be a worthy candidate for #1,000?

    I think I can get my hands on a bottle of that...

    There are numerous beers with "1000" in the name. Seems like one of them would be appropriate.

    Picture me speaking in a Thurston Howell the Third voice. Something terribly expensive, that you would never buy otherwise. (luvie) Honestly go with something you never would have bought except for the occasion.

    But updating an old review won't make it count as a new review, so won't be #1,000.

    Just hit my 1000 and 1001 reviews. #1000 was Tree House's Christmas 2017 Double Shot, and #1001 was Sucuba.

    I'm partial to barleywines on milestones, as I just love them. Try and get some Mother of all Storms, if you haven't had it already.

    Otherwise, snag that bottle you always put back in the store because it's too pricey and review it. For me, that would include any Old Stock, Black Butte Reserve, and BBA Old Rasputin (except one vintage).
