As one of Sixpoint’s core 4 beers and its flagship IIPA, I don’t think anybody will be all that surprised that the product development team riffed on OG Resin. For the first time through the app, 3 different beers will be available this month:

Sales go live on February 19th at 12 PM, though perhaps that gets pushed to Tuesday again given it’s another holiday weekend. Release day is Saturday February 24, from 10 AM to 4 PM – let’s all pray to Baby Jesus for a warm day.

Got a preview of Pixel Dust in January and the lupulin powder flies straight out of the glass and into your brain, really impressive aroma for a 4.5% beer. I have a feeling Resin and Hi-Res will be on for pours, hopefully we get some good news later in the month in that regard + other beers to taste. Maybe we can look forward to some special happenings ala Bean Day? Get your drinking pants ready.

P.S. @Sixpoint, Can you bring back Danke? I didn’t have enough of it last time.

As mentioned, this is the first one where we will be releasing three different/new formulations at once, and we're amped about it. Those who attended in January had a sneak preview of the Pixel Dust, and the other two offered we sampled and tasted the pilot batches today. This is the first time we are doing higher gravity/more intense IPAs, as all of the ones to date have been fairly "mild" Pale Ales and lower ABV IPAs. Make no mistake though, this was done by design as we felt before we really explore the depth of these intense samples, we'll aim to perfect a good pale. The Hootie-Hoo iterations and the F2P - Jackson Farms are good examples of this.

I should have more updates on version 4.3 of the app within a couple of weeks, but the goal here is to do a UI refactor, which is taking a lot of time, thought, and focus. The idea is to allow you (the customer/user) to see all of the beers that are being offered at the upcoming release without having to swipe to a different screen. We are also investigating a live counter of the quantities that are available for all on a single screen. In addition, we are looking at putting an option in that allows you to change your pick-up window time after your purchase as made. Last, we are looking at a function that allows you to pre-order a limited specialty item (such as customized glassware) that you can also pick up at the release. There's a ton of features here, so its been an interesting few weeks with a lot of collaborative sessions banging these designs out.

Regarding the additional beers/tap list, I should have more info about that the week of the release.

I’m really excited for the February small batch release but I must say this year’s Hi-Res is ridiculously good, don’t sleep on it...best batch yet.

That is actually a photo of the Anti-Resin sampling, taken yesterday. All of the beers have been moved to dry-hops and are getting ready for canning, less than two weeks from today!

We're glad you are digging this year's Hi-Res....lots of folks have written in to say its the best one yet. The recipe was tweaked, and people are digging it.

We also will have a very limited specialty item for this release....Max & the team came up with some sick glassware....the opposite side of the glass will have the anti-resin/resin hop cone medallion....cheers

That glass looks awesome! I’d been refraining from purchasing new tekus, as the missus is getting tired of my growing collection, but I do like the wine glass style.

Ditto, Hi-Res being fantastic! True Story- it was one the first double, err "triple" IPA's that I ever had, and was like damn I love these boozy IPA's.

@Sixpoint I was looking on your website, and you have several sours listed in the "small batch" portion, just wondering do you guys have any intention of doing some BA non kettle soured beers in the future? Cheers!

We actually have done quite a few of these. Some of them were even featured at the can releases, whether on draft or sometimes even in crowlers to-go. The last one I believe was the Brownstone Renovation.
