    Clear amber gold color with white cap.

    Aroma of sweet malt and slightly floral, spicy hops.

    Taste on entry is malt forward with a bready sweetness that isn't really sweet, rather that's the impression. Hops add floral, spicy elements which carry through and linger in the aftertaste.

    Medium texture with balancing carbonation.

    Very good rendition of the Pilsner style.

    When you have a United flight from Newark airport and get stuck in terminal A instead of C it is easy to be disappointed. For those of you not familiar, C actually has very good beer options and terminal A is just a nightmare all around, not just for beer.

    With that said, this large Sam Adams Boston Lager is tasting mighty fresh.



    I’ll be checking back in probably again shortly. And definitely when I get to Toronto tonight.

    I don't normally drink this early, but a hearty, warming beer as it rains sounded nice. (Especially since I think I'm going to grab a nap after this)
    I need to drink Scotch ales more often. This beer is very pleasant.
