No luck, buddy. Given the reaction of my beer store hookup when I asked if he had any of this (looked at me like I had three heads), I’d guess this may be a difficult acquisition.

I did forward your LIF winnings. That was a very small "thank you for being so generous with your LIF winnings" box.

 

The beer store I frequent gets a lotta stuff, including Central States, and the beer buyer told me he has tried to get the beer you seek, but he has been stonewalled.

PS: he has Omnipollo stuff on his shelf, but can't secure that beer.

I checked both stores, and unfortunately neither had come in. Very disappointed about that. Really wish I could help.

 

So, I have a little story to tell you.

Last week, on Sunday, I get a couple text messages. Supposedly someone from Chicago needs my address because they want to use me as a character reference, and the other just wants to send me some crowlers. I know these clowns, so I go ahead and send them my address. I figure, what's the harm? I like them, I'd do anything I could for them, Happy to help (or accept crowlers!).

Then This happens today.

I don't recognize the sender. ...The fuck?

Then I open the lids that just endlessly fold over themselves:



Holy shit. My god. I joke...a lot, but something like this reminds me of just how humble I feel, and how extraordinarily greatful I am to belong to such a wonderful group of people. Thank you very much.

I am SUPER excited to try these BA stouts. I put a Boss Tweed in the fridge (as I have not had one before), and am polishing it off right now! It's quite good! I've had M-43 before, I didn't want to break into everything all at once tonight .
