Guess we now know what Todd's been up to since joining the team. Lot of those new elements look pretty similar to what Surly did when building their destination location.
I think I see the new Floydominiums over there on the side for the workers to live in. Pretty soon they'll be paying their employees in Floydbucks that get spent at the Floyd's General Store.
I find it a bit disturbing that they only have 8 parking spots and 5 of them are reserved for the handicapped....Do they know something about the future of transportation that we don't?
I think they have ratio spot on. By the time FFF is completed with the expansion, enough of the population will be obese that we'll qualify for those handicapped tags.
Nobody is going to be driving their own car 20 years from now. I think they overestimated the need for parking by (roughly) 8 spots.
224 spots? Way too many. How am I supposed to carry 18 cases of ZD from the sales window to my station wagon with that kind of distance?
I've got mixed feelings on all of this. On one hand, I can see the need for expansion, but on the other side of things, I feel the artist's renderings portray a Disney like tourist trap that destroys the whole vibe of the place. Anyway, I hope nothing but the best for FFF, and pray distro expands to Southern Illinois or Missouri..
http://www.chicagobusiness.com/arti...floyds-ambitious-expansion-plan-moves-forward per the report, "Construction will start after Dark Lord Day on May 19, said Three Floyds spokeswoman Sara White. The project is expected to be complete in fall." seems very ambitious.
