Holy Hell, You're Killing me!!!

 

Doing some local quality control today. I may or may not be getting some beers for my target here or at another brewery I’m visiting today!

I'm doing some research as well. It's hard work getting ready for an NBS BIF.

 

Well, we are supposed to include a food item, and we sadly are aware at least one Eagles fan has eaten it...

 

Look for bottletosser to find me. Apparently I missed you when we mentioned untapped names the last round.

 

I'm looking forward to being there at the end of next month, l looks like I'll be just in time to put a few in my target's box too.

 

I think he'd have been totally justified to call himself TheREALCaveDave.

Just sealed up a hop heavy thank you box to someone for getting me an east coast beer I wanted to try. Pretty good chance my target will get several of the same beers.

 

How was that Berliner at EQ

 

Just picked up some fresh stuff, may be an early box heading to whomever my target is in the next couple weeks.

 

Ugghh don't know, had to work last weekend, and am on call this weekend, and next weekend too, as a favor for the Town Supervisor who likely will forget I did him another favor two seconds after the favor is completed.

 

So I have been hit with an awesome box from @WesMantooth

Last round he picked me to win his LIF, the only requirement was I had to agree to share some of the beers he sent with other BA's in person. At the time of the LIF, I had never gotten a proper BA handshake tick. This excellent box couldn't have come at a better time either, because I am planning on meeting a few Newbie BA's in San Francisco in the middle of March. Now I can bring some great beers to share.



In a great show of Beer It Forward Corey sent some note cards that described how some of the beers in this box were sent to him from other NBS'ers throughout the various rounds and LIF's. @thebeers @jhartley @Ozzylizard @Homebrew @Prager62 and @Dragginballs76 all are represented in this box.

Yesterday I was able to share the KBS (one of my all time favorite beers) and the hop juju (a long time want of mine) with fellow BA @Blasterbum.

A few of the others I will be saving for the aforementioned meet up in March. Thanks for the awesome box Corey!

That XXXX ale was from the first NBS BIF and my first BIF. I recall it being a very good, and very interesting Old Ale type beer that I thought would age really well. Have to let me know how the cellar treated it.
