Just had my first foggy geezer. The can says foggy and hazy but I saw no such thing, not too shabby but probably won't seek again unless I'm at a bar and my only other options are lagunitas IPA and revolution anti hero.

 

Yeah. It’s kinda whatever.

Lazurite is fantastic though. Not hazy, but just a great beer.

 

If Three Floyds is not seeking national distribution, then tell me how I keep finding bombers of its brews at this bar in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan.

When I was at War Pigs in Copenhagen last year, they had Dark Lord variants for on-site consumption!

 

Nobody said anything about international distribution.

 

Same. I went in September of '15 and Aquavit ones were at every Mikkeller spot. Dark Lord too.

Has anyone drank a 2016 BA Moloko recently? Someone on a facebook group said he felt like it started to give in to infection, but I cant trust his opinion.

 

I haven't heard anything one was or another. Wasn't it just speculation to begin with? If true, my two cents is projects keep getting in the way of Nick's goal to have a Chicago brewpub. He announced they would do one back in what, 2012? Then Warpigs DK and the Munster brewery expansions/distillery happened. Now he has the WarPigs USA stuff going as well as the FFF industrial park take over expansion. Perhaps this stuff is getting in the way? There is really no reason for them to have a chicago brewpub presence since they are essentially in the burbs already. National and international distro make more sense for capital expenditures as cool as it would be to have a chitown pub....

 

So the way I understand it is that 3 Floyds definitely still owns a building in Humboldt Park. And that it is/was going to be a Warpigs Brewpub/BBQ joint. However that murmur has definitely quieted and the expansion in Munster will be taking up a ton of time. If Linda Haug is not currently working on this project on top of helping out with the expansion at HQ then I don't know what this building is for and why it isn't on its way to becoming a brewpub. Although it takes nearly a year of work to get tanks, a kitchen, licenses, approval, etc. So, unfortunately it is still anyone's guess.

 

I was kind of hoping to hear an update from the guys guessing DLD passwords on the construction status of the Chicago place since it would fit their M.O. to be camped outside it.

 

I'll answer my own question. I ended up opening my bottle out of curiosity after the dude said it was infected and...

Its totally fine.

 

Can we please get some barrel aged Behemoth now?

 

Believe they responded on social and said nothing BA is coming out for quite a while. So don't hold your breath.
