    Been boiling off sap since early this morning. Now I have a couple more gallons of syrup to filter and can.

    Thought I would have this Xocoveza with my quickly concocted very spicy bean bean dip and with tortilla chips.

    My first time trying this beer. It goes well with my lunch. The stout even has a noticeable touch of peppers along with the chocolate.

    IJs Bok from SNAB brewery. This is a beer for freezing conditions like we are having here at the moment.
    All mildly sub-zero however. Most of you in Scandinavia and the Northern US will probably laugh about a timid minus 5 Celsius (that’s about 23 Fahrenheit I believe). The wind adds some extra where I live.

    Temperature itself isn't everything. Where I live now, Malmö, -5 feels as wickedly cold as -20 does in Stockholm, where I'm from. Wind, humidity and other things factor in. We had -6 on Monday, but the wind and humidity made it the coldest I think I've ever felt... of course, having a fever of 40,2 when I got home probably didn't help...

    Great minds think alike. All beers were from 2017. I drank half of this bottle along with my first post, and the other half along with the second. I love Dupont, but (to me) this bottle of Saison Dupont had diacetyl. Perhaps I’ll mention this in the “controversial posts” thread. :grimacing:
