Does anybody have info on these guys or know where in LA they are setting up shop?

And they did a couple collabs with J Wake that looked promising. Other than that, I can't find anything on these guys.

Looks like they're from Guam but now on Los Angeles.

Way to many brewery’s to keep up with. And most are subpar if not bad.

Well, San Diego has about 150 or so.....yet you tend to only see maybe 20-30 talked about....so that should be a clue about the ones in san diego.

Not sure on location but I think we have a few decent choices. Indie, Highland Park, Mumford to name a few. I don't know why LA can't keep up with the likes of the North East
I don't remember seeing an angel city or iron triangle thread...

There was one when we were making fun of him for a month or two. You just don't see San Diego making a thread for every damn brewery we have and yet I see a new one pop up for LA a lot. Breweries that use to be combined into a single thread all of a sudden have a release so somehow they deserve their own thread. It just gets cluttered really quickly. Of course a lot of those have their one release...it ends up being mediocre and the thread falls down into the abyss....but still, it should show that it was warranted to begin with.

Angel City :confounded: WTF! Went there and Arts two Sundays ago. That was after a run to Dojo, Mikkeller and Mumford. I think the urine smell on the streets of DTLA smelled better than the Shit that came out of Angel and Arts.

I think LA just lacks great breweries. We have shit ones and mediocre ones, but nothing to lose sleep over. I mean what do we have to brag about besides Monkish? So I think anytime we hear of a new brewery popping up, we get excited hoping that it's not going to be another Arts District or Boomtown.

Haha agreed. I did forget about Modern Times, but who's got time to wait in a 2 hour line for a beer....wait a second.....

Eh. Not sure if you're talking about LA proper but Beachwood is one of the best breweries in CA if not the entire country.

Still haven't made it to Beachwood! Guess I'm referring to LA proper and the surrounding neighborhoods. I'm up in the San Fernando Valley, so my patience wears thin after sitting in traffic for more than 45 minutes to go drink beer.

I’d put HPB up against most breweries. And they kill it with a variety of styles too.

Here's a few more LA breweries that rise above the mediocre level:

Smog City, ESBC, Firestone Venice, MIkkeller DTLA, Mumford.

I'm looking forward to Three Chiefs based on their work with Wakefield as well as the experience of a number of people I trust. Definitely one of the more promising brewery openings and I'm glad to hear it's finally happening. Looking forward to seeing what they can do.
