As a Wisconsinite, I agree. It's good but it needs more.

Just got home from a great long weekend trip to New Orleans. Man, what a great city. Third time there and I think I love it more each time.

Back to work tomorrow, so I figure a last hurrah brew or two is in order. Starting with a Tyranena Devil Over a Barrel.

Coffee is still quite present and moderate bourbon character. Lots of chocolate and mild barrel notes. Still a very nice brew.

    Cheers everybody!

Watching this show about the 04 Tsunami on the Smithsonian Channel. We were almost over there to adopt, but there was a snag in the paperwork & I wasn't convinced it would get fixed, so we didn't go. Maybe we would've been fine, but since I planing on diving at Phuket, maybe not. We did go there about 2 years later ( took that long to un-fuck the paperwork ).

Plotting these two head to head. The Pseudo is dated 1/11/18, and the Daisy Cutter...let's just say I got it a few months ago...

I taste some hop spoilage on the Daisy -- but I still prefer the Daisy Cutter, oddly. I figured it would have killed it because I hate old hops. But no, the crispness is still there, and the floral elements and light citrus still flows like a river. They are both fine beers - excellent, even...but the Cutter is just phenomenal. <3
