Earlier, interrupted somebody's afternoon swim. Surprisingly tolerant of my presence. Just one tail-slap, when I first showed up. Watched for about 15 min.


W/Brett. Some wet horse, but not overpowering.

 

I am drinking Prairie Noir from Prairie Artisan Ales, an Oatmeal Imperial Stout aged in Oak Whiskey barrels, ABV 11.00%. The flavor is roasted malts, coffee, sweet dark chocolate, some vanilla, and whiskey. Lots of flavor, maybe too much, but it is good.

Marz Community Brewing Midway CHiPA Midwest DIPA 4×12 oz canned 2/23.

Trying to guess the guest hops.

Its delicious, even better than the previous batches.

And also Marz Cryoflayer "New England TDH iipa" . Juicy but a malt bomb compared to something Forbidden Roots TDH Toro! but so good.

 

My second Catskill Brewery beer and the scoresheet so far says 2-for-2 with a slugging percentage way, way over 1.000. This is one tasty pils! Thanks, @TongoRad! Do New York breweries make any bad beer?
