Worst hangover I ever had was after my first DLD (and also, not surprising, the drunkest I've ever been). Definitely not a great idea for a first timer to work the next day unless they're very careful or just don't like beer that much.

 

Oh you will need to get up to go pee at least 6, 7 times during the night. But in the morning you won't feel like a dead person who got punched in the head.

And a Dark Lord Day without at least 3 deaths is considered a dull affair.

 

Vaguely intrigued by the de muerte for prop 17 trade just posted. But I don’t know about those peppers....

 

Had it on tap last year and it's pretty spicy.

I also got Muerte as my variant and traded it for BA Vanilla Moloko (top notch) and De Garde imperial Raz Bu

If you like peppers, there is plenty of them in Muerte.

 

I'd do it in a heartbeat. I love De Muerte.

 

With the exception of vanilla, can anyone finish more than 8oz of the variants without getting sick of it whether pepper, caradamom, obscure wine/liquor, etc. They quite possible designed the world's best sharing beer.

 

It's good to be back! I told myself I would wait until March 1st to start down this rabbit hole. Who else is staying at the new SpringHill Suites right next to the brewery this year?

Because in bidness, if you don't grow, you become irrelevant? I'm guessing they are surveying the craft beer landscape, and trying to stake out their turf.

 

If i bring a bottle of $15 Mellow Corn bourbon to the share, will i be shamed or an ironic DLD hero? Asking for a friend.
