Good morning everyone! Hope everyone has recovered nicely from last night. Starting with something light (3%). A really nice Berliner Weisse. Cheers!

Can you spot the beer can?

A bit more visible in the second photo below. Foreign Objects - In the Gold Dust Rust. This is some really good stuff and worth the hype. Yum.

Good morning BA, have a great Sunday! Not much going on today once again, need to do the usual bottle returns, laundry, and grocery run as usual today.

Awesome fruited IPA! Aromas and flavors of big juicy mango, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, grapefruit, tangerine, lemon/orange peel, and light pine hops; with moderate honey, toasted bread, light caramel malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine/citrus peel bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body; nice hop stickiness and a fair amount of grainy creaminess in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing hop/fruit bitter dryness; zero hop/citrus peel astringency. I loved this a lot. Very juicy and bright on hop, citrus peel, and fruit juice notes; good malt presence, but never too sweet. Quite refreshing for the ABV too. Glad they came back to the state last year.

Awesome IPA. Aromas and flavors of big grapefruit, tangerine, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berry, citrus peel/rind, and light pepper/pine hops; with moderate wheat, cracker, biscuit, light honeyed malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel, herbal, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation body; balanced creamy/bready/grainy malts and sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Light resins/rinds, lightly increasing lingering bitter dryness, no hop astringency. Refreshingly smooth, never aggressive. Mosaic and Citra hops. Awesome balance of juicy and dank hop complexity; nice bready malt backbone, with mild residual sweetness. Will definitely be buying this again. Spot on NEIPA, despite no significant haze. Been quite impressed with all of their beers that hit distro. All worth buying again a lot.

This is insane! Aromas and flavors of big milk/dark chocolate, nutty coffee, vanilla, cream, caramel, brown sugar, marshmallow, toffee, fudge, bourbon, rye whiskey, coconut, toasted oak, and dark/brown bread; with light notes of molasses, raisins, and smoke. Very mild roast/char bitterness and bourbon/rye/oak spiciness on the finish. Light-medium carbonation and fairly full body; with a very smooth, creamy, silky, velvety, and rich mouthfeel that is fantastic. Minimal chalky roast, oak tannins, or dryness. Dangerously smooth sipping, mildly warming 12%, zero barrel booze. I bought 2 more 4 packs, and there is even more available now. Seems like they keep shipping more in. Super rich malt complexity and balanced vanilla/coffee flavors; with perfect barrel integration. Never boozy, tannic, or drying. Not overly roasty or bitter. One of the smoothest BBA beers I have ever had. Great price as well. Will keep buying more if given the opportunity.

This is still tasting insane! Flavors of lightly tart blueberries, milk chocolate, cocoa, caramel, toffee, fudge, vanilla, toasted coconut, bourbon, oak, and dark bread; with lighter notes of molasses, licorice, and raisins. Light roasted bitterness and fruit tartness on the finish. Full bodied with an amazing creamy, silky, velvety, and rich mouthfeel. Some light roast malt chalkiness and fruit acidity; touch of dryness from both. Never cloyingly sweet, but definitely a dessert beer. Amazingly smooth, minimally warming 10.5%. A near perfect balance of berries, cocoa/vanilla, malt, and barrel character. Tons of flavor complexity, and it all comes together extremely well. I've always been a big fan of fruit stouts, so I'm not surprised how much I loved this one. Seems pretty polarizing to most people, but this is one of my favorites from last year. This is the 10th bomber I've had, and I have a few more in the cellar. I keep grabbing these randomly every time I see them. Well worth the price. Just grabbed another one yesterday, along with a Mango Magnifico lol.

[IMG] Final day of vacation, kids had plenty of fun and I sipped plenty of great beer. This is no exception, roasty, slightly boozy, and with fairly large body. Thanks as always @jzeilinger for this big stout.

I am drinking both a Westvleteren nr 8 (ABV 8.00% - left) and a Westvleteren nr 12 (ABV 10.20% - right). The foaminess of the Westy 8 is the result of my pouring skills. They are both great Belgian Ales, Dubbel vs. Quadruple, both very well balanced and tasty, dark bread, dark fruit (figs, dates, ..) but the Westy 12 has more flavor, and slightly more booziness, carbonation, and aftertaste. They are not very similar in taste (I didn't expect them too), but I was surprised how similarly looking they were. Lacing impressive on both. In any case they are both really great beers.

Sipping the rest of a bottle of Samichlaus Helles that I opened late last night .
Moving on to Founders Breakfast Stout shortly with some breakfast .

Just a few days ago I was sitting out here in the sun on the patio , while enjoying a brew and then this freakin Nor’easter strikes .

Two trees hit the house, took out the patio table, light, dented grill, siding and damaged the gutter/eave..
SOB it’s always something in life :slight_frown:

Very nice NEIPA with a very juicy and zesty citrus character that even turns slightly acidic in the aftertaste, but not in bad way. Absolutely love the name here and that they actually put "Justice" down as one of the descriptors.

Good Sunday morning BAs! I took Friday off as as cleanse day, went to a great bottle share yesterday afternoon, back from a long walk this morning with the dogs, so ready for a new beer - EvilTwin Brewing/Westbrook’s “Maple Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Mexican Biscotti Cake Break”:

Working on my notes for NBS and my second pour. Spoiler alert - maybe the best collab Beer between these two that I’ve had yet! Have a great Sunday y’all!

Inspired by @DoctorZombies, I'm going for a collab between Eviltwin and Westbrook. Amazing stuff. Apart from a run this morning, I'm enjoying a nice relaxing Sunday. I hope everyone gets a chance to kick back for a while. Cheers!

Gotta be honest, this one is pretty mediocre. It's weak, very thin, and surprisingly bland for a stout. Would not recommend.
