To help find their beer, outside their brewery (they have their own tap room, where you can buy, drink, and fill growlers), use the following link:

    More info from their website

Tasting room availability is posted on Facebook on Wednesday and Saturday before the sessions begin.

Special releases: When there are new cans we set up a table downstairs for efficiency, but outside of those first couple days they are upstairs in the tap room, which is staffed by really nice people.

How to get to Carton (The BOAT STORY)

    The boat from the city:
On weekdays the Atlantic Highlands stop on Seastreak ferry is 5 blocks straight down 1st Ave (.4 miles 8 minutes walk on Google maps)

On weekends there is a shuttle waiting at the Connors Highlands stop on the ferry that will run you over to the Atlantic Highlands stop (if you are nice to the driver they very well may drop you at Carton as you pass)

OR you can take the ferry to Connors Highlands, walk down Shore Drive to Kranky Cyclesand rent a bike (.3 miles-6minute walk on Google maps) and rent a bike. They have motorized and regular cruisers which can be peddled down the Henry Hudson bike path to Carton (2.9 miles 15 minute peddle according to Google maps) as well as out Sandy Hook for some beach time with stops at any of our local seafood shacks along the way.

I was told thats the umbrella name for all the breweries that participated in the collaboration. More beers to come from that label.

I’m tempted to but I don’t have time today (over an hour away). Any chance both of these survive the day?

Enjoying a nitro Milk, fun to be able to drink a nitro Carton can. Hoping it'll let me appreciate the beer differently.

As we have more space and can do more collaborative beers we will. This identity is to separate collaboration and let it be about workshopping and artistry rather than simply “brand extension” for Carton.

So is Raise the same beer as Bet, which barrier released last week? I tried searching but failed to find the answer

No. Im pretty sure all 4 beers released have the same hop profile but there are differences. Think Bet was a base. Raise has wheat I believe. ReRaise used oats. All In had wheat oats and lactose. Believe that Was how I read it

To start, sorry for hijacking the thread. Question for you though. What can I expect to spend on a 6 or 4 pack of Carton? If that's too vague, would you consider their beer expensive? Going to Cape May this Summer and plan to pick up some Carton stuff for the trip as well as back home since it sounds so good. Thanks for the replies in advance.

Just want to give a big shout-out to the crew handling the can sales on Saturday. I arrived a little before 1:00 and it couldn't have been any smoother. I was in-and-out within 10 minutes, everyone was super friendly, and I even got a hand carrying my beer to the car...they actually kinda of insisted on helping! Certainly not my first visit to Carton, but the trip seems to get easier ever time. I could not ask for anything else in regards to service and ease of experience...the new gold standard for me in terms of how to run can sales.

On to the beer: picked up a year's supply of Cosmonaut. One of my favorite beers. Has everything I'm looking for in an imperial stout. Finally got my hands on some This Town. Way too drinkable...could not keep my glass full. Great game day beer. I'm looking forward to working my way through a couple six packs next weekend when March Madness starts up. Gotta admit, I don't normally seek out beers on nitro but Carton of Milk and Cupid both were tasting great. The transition from Carton of Milk to Cupid to Cosmonaut was fun. SS Yirgacheffe was an unexpected treat. I wasn't sure what to make of it at 40 degrees but (for my palate) it started to come together wonderfully as it warmed up a bit.

    Well done Carton!
