I agree with you 100%. On Sunday I made 1.3 hour trip up North in hopes of leftovers from the release the day prior. Man, do I feel foolish about posting the question above. When I showed up at 12:30 not only did thy have shitloads of Raise & Yirgacheffe, there was nobody in line. I even got to chat it up with some of the workers there (had a great convo with a dude who went to school in MA; my home state). Anyway, I just want to take my hat off as well and give them a hand. Phenomenal job as always. I can’t even imagine how awesome things are gonna be with the new space.

It's amazing how Carton always manages to do it right.

Finally got my hands on BDG and This Town cans. More please! So sick of the overhopped, lactose infused, supersweet, high abv IPAs every brewery is pushing these days. Can't enjoy a proper pint of those beers. BDG and TT I could drink all day.

[QUOTE="FonyBones, post: 5909153, member: 1083141" Finally got my hands on some This Town. Way too drinkable...could not keep my glass full. Great game day beer. [/QUOTE]I love this beer so much. It is indeed too drinkable. If this one were to go the Two Roads route of distribution, I could see picking up at least a six pack of it every other week at my local beer shop when I refill the refrigerator.

SS Yirgacheffe made it all the way to Bottle King in Ramsey. That's practically New York!

First time having it and while I haven't had many coffee IPAs, but it's my favorite by far.

Thought Augie said Our Town was staying in the original brewery with only local distro.

I haven’t had any of the new releases lately, such as Yirgacheffe, Nitro Milk/Cupid, Cosmonaut. Were these brewed in NJ or CT? Thanks.

Damn. I actually got mine at Gary's in Wayne along with the Cypress/Icarus collab. I just noticed Bottle King had it on untappd last night when I checked it in. You might also try Uncorked in Hohokus. They usually get Carton drops.

Yirgacheffe and Cosmonaut are both Atlantic Highlands. Not sure about the other two, but I believe so as well.

I believe the only cans coming out of CT are IDIPA, Unjunct, Hoppun, Beach, and Red Rye Returning.

My local mom & pop just posted this and, seeing as how it’s a barely concealed jab at Carton and contains such severe language as “questionable business ethics,” I thought I’d share it here and offer @augiecarton an opportunity to respond.

I'm confused. What do they have against carton?

That’s what I’m wondering. They don’t overtly mention Carton, but with a conspicuous absence of a Carton tap handle amongst a Jersey-heavy growler station and a bit in the comments about “not carrying a NJ brewery’s packaged goods anymore” (paraphrasing), I feel like their intent is obvious. And throwing around accusations of “questionable business ethics” and “unreasonable demands” on social media, regardless of whether or not context is included, strikes me as a bit, uh, odd.

I guess keeping beer cold is unreadable? Haha

Whatever their issue is, this is a crappy way to handle it. It is obvious who they are talking about. To use questionable business practices and unreasonable demands and refuse to explain what they mean is an extremely unprofessional way to handle whatever the beef is .

It is also a very questionable business practice.

Drinking my last Irish Coffee now. I don’t think this gets enough love compared to the other variants. I’m a sucker for mint in almost everything except beer since most others taste like someone squeezed a tube of toothpaste into a beer. This is the first mint beer I’ve had that works. So good and probably my favorite Carton beer. I hope they continue to make these every year.

Was at Wilco in Pennsquken tonight and was surprised to see Raise. Took a 4. They had a case and half left. Awesome to see so many of these Carton beers making their way into distro. Can’t post this enough as someone who lives fairly far from the mothership.
