Growler Filling Policy: "Please feel free to fill as many growlers as you would like. In Pennsylvania, each transaction must be limited to 192 fluid ounces. This means that upon receipt, if you would like to purchase more than 192 fluid ounces of our beer, you must leave the premises and then return to pick up additional beer (and then repeat the cycle if you’d like any more beer!).

We will also be opening up for 64 oz growler fills on MOST ALL BEERS. There will, of course, continue to be a few beers that we will not do any growler fills of (one-off kegs, anniversary beers, etc.), but this should be a rare occurrence.

We will continue to fill our branded glassware only, as we are STILL exceedingly proud to put our name on our Strange & Beautiful beer. If this is a very big issue for you, we will be happy to let you “trade-in” any growler for one of ours. Sound good?"

    Growler fill Prices
    64 oz:
    $20.00
    32 oz: $10.50
    Glass: $5.00

(prices vary occasionally for higher gravity / limited quantity beers)

The Cafe is now selling 32oz crowlers.

I opened a can of Place to Be. I am most certainly getting the lemon basil (nose and palate), and that's about it. It is more bready/doughy than their other IPAs too, in my opinion. Does not taste really hoppy or bitter at all. Quite different from the usual canned IPAs. I do not love it, nor hate it. Pretty middle of the road, I guess.

I suppose that not all 'experiments' will yield winners!?!

    Cheers!

I would have certainly been content with a single can of this particular beer, rather than an entire 4-pack, FWIW. Cheers, Jack!

    I hear you.

I recently purchased a 6-pack of a Founders beer and I had similar thoughts. Needless to say but I paid a lot less for my 6-pack then you did for this 4-pack.

How about we leave this on a more positive note: we both got to drink beer!!

    Cheers!

As @JackHorzempa said, not everything can be a winner. Kudos for trying though.

But what if this allows them to make another mediocre experiment beer!?

50/50 Guillemot is still the best beer Tired Hands has ever made, by the way. Just amazing.

Is 50/50 Guillemot just OG Guillemot Nebula?

I said it before and I'll say it again "I'm just not getting enough pizza in this ipa". Mostly it's just a decent ipa but every other sip I get like a flavor that would be a part of some crazy pringles flavor. Plus some merlot, I don't actually mind this. Romantic Italian dinner in a glass, or at least a wawa run for pizza Pringles and some parking lot hooch.

I don't think so, Guillemot Nebula was part bourbon barrel aged, and I believe mostly or all barrel-aged. The 50/50 was specifically billed as 50/50 when they originally made it, and was half-stainless, half-wine barrel.

So close to getting a last week's canned ipa to this next release. All it took was some tomato paste!

I wonder if these beers will last as long as the canned Tired Hands lager beers (e.g., Helles, Pilsner,...)?

    Cheers!

Opened up a Place to Be last night and what a fucking disaster beer that is. I enjoyed the concept and went into it with an open mind but after letting it sit for about 3 minutes the beer completely separated.

Do you happen to know when those beers in the store were canned? I have one in my fridge with the date of 1/31/18. Is that what they are selling at the store?

    Cheers!
