    First ever french ipa that impressed me. Maybe that's because it's a collaboration between 2 french breweries (Popihn & and Hoppy Road) and 1 us (Voodoo)!
    Great level for an ipa and I had already tested TH, Trillium, Alchemist... Hope we could find more of this quality ipa in France.

    Color is hot pink or light raspberry, your choice. Not enough cap to comment.

    Aroma of raspberry and lime. That's it but they're bright, clean, sharp scents.

    Hmm, tastes like raspberry and lime. i get raspberry first, then lime, then a combination of the two. There is a tart/sour theme playing all the way through and into the aftertaste. The pale and wheat malt serve as a carrier for the fruit flavors and don't really speak to me in any malt sense. Hops are in there (8 IBU) but I don't really notice them.

    Light texture with balancing carbonation.

    Overall it's a light, fruit infused brew that comes across as refreshingly tart, mildly sour and surprisingly dry. A Springtime breakfast brew that makes for an anytime refreshing drink.

    Ate lunch at a new (for me) place, Maine Beer Café. Very nice, particularly since they had Founders CBS on tap.

    I mentioned I'd be cooking today. Getting dinner started: portobello caps slow cooked in a custom blend of olive oil, balsamic vinegar, basil, oregano, bay, and sherry.

    Going to top them with provolone, of course. Since I've got three, I might experiment with mustard on one and mayo on another. I normally don't use any condiments on portobellos, but I'm willing to give it a try.

    For those that are well-versed in the traditional, Tripel style...this is one of the best brewed in The States.

    Thankfully, the brewery is located less than 30 minutes away...a wonderful dividend to my recent relocation.

    The nucleation on this glass is a bit aggressive. However, it generates a massive head with the most conservative pour...especially when it comes to bottle conditioned beers (like Three Fates). Consumption is quicker than a non-nucleated glass, but this one is damn sexy!

    Headed to sleep and rest up for another overnight...Cheers fellow BAs!
