That's what Westbrook does. I enjoyed this year's variant cake release. Super easy. Had a lot of current and past years ba beers on rotating on tap. Most stressless and hassel free release I've ever been to .
Any bottles left over can be purchased and consumed onsite for secondary prices .

It's a far cry better than what they are doing now. Just throwing hands up and saying nothing is perfect gets nothing done .people miss out on both methods, this eliminates lines and impact on the neighborhood.

Per a FB post by Ryan/Angry Chair in a Seminole Heights group next year TBBW releases will be off site.

Don't think it's a far cry better. If you want it bad enough...you get there with time.

the concerns of the neighborhood trumps the desires of fat beer geeks who want bragging rights at their next tasting

Got to love all the people posting CL ads for mules, definitely seems like there is a better way to do sales than this, even if its not 'convenient' for locals (however Fonta Flora and lots of other breweries do it just fine, and locals are extremely happy).

I did t mean I was planning on showing up between 8 & 9, I plan to be there most of the night. What I meant was if there is that much line cutting that I will be pushed back a few hundred spots then I should probably come even earlier than the middle of the night night I was planning on

People still line up and have mules for BCBS on Black Friday, upping production doesnt do much when people really like a product. Additionally, often upping production is a lot easier said than done.

Breweries more often than not have solutions to these problems, but damn does it feel good to wake up in the morning and see 300+ people standing in line all night just to buy a bottle of beer from you.

You can’t nust up your production when you’re already at max capacity.

Guys did we hit a new low tonight?

There is a line of people hoping to get in to the at-capacity-since-4pm Voodoo event today, and another line of people that started at 6pm waiting for the BA Imperial German Chocolate Cupcake Stout release tomorrow slated for 12pm.

Has a craft brewery ever had two separate lines going before like this?

They split into two lines? We were there at 4PM, it was a full crowd lined up and they were already smashed like sardines inside the taproom. We waited until 530 before deciding to just go eat at Edison Food Lab. Sounded like MBP kicked before anyone we could see outside got in--I really didn't even want that. Wanted to try DBPop on draft, and maybe GNVP and Zangief...but you couldn't even try AC beers because everyone was camping for the full 2 hours for Voodoo. It really sucks we couldn't get pours outside if we just wanted AC, almost everyone was there for Voodoo, and peaking in the windows you could see very few people drinking because they were just waiting--bar staff probably made way less money than normal during that time.

Enjoyed BA Fionn better than BA Rocky Road, although, BBRR really nailed what it was going for, freakily so...but Fionn tasted more balanced by comparison.

I got there about 15 minutes after they posted they were at capacity. There was enough people in line to kick a keg or 2 of the stouts. I'm going to let the sweet stout oeoplp have their fun with tonight's line. I'll be hitting cc for some maple huna tomorrow.

Who said anything about just upping?

My statement was rather one for the future...cycle took steps to do it.....and it mostly killed the secondary mulling
