with some 70's gold on the side. Last night's shift was too shitty for just one beer. Back in a few.

 

I invited the baby to breakfast, then it's time to clean the disaster area of a house that I came home to yesterday.

Good morning (and afternoon) BAs! Another snowy morning here in NWPA. Yesterday's two inches (5 cm) of wet, heavy snow was mostly gone by afternoon. Since then we've received about another inch of dry, powdery snow. Typical March weather. Today's New Breakfast Beer is courtesy of a trade with @gibgink:

I went with a "B+" (very good) for my score, for this beer.

 

4.4% alcohol. 20 IBU. Introduced in 2018. Brewed in Michigan.

Aroma of dark roasted malt, clean sharp coffee, chocolate and dark ripe fruit.

Flavor on entry is a combination of the scents plus a dark caramel or toffeeish undertone. Very complex, very full rich flavor, all melded together beautifully. I don't get much in the way of hops in the scent but they are definitely present in the taste.
