Ticket Sales dates:
2009 - 3/17/2009 - Tuesday - St. Patty's Day - early AM (lottery system)
2010 - 3/17/2010 - Wednesday - St. Patty's Day - 7:00pm
2011 - 3/19/2011 - Saturday - 1:00pm
2012 - 3/17/2012 - Saturday - St. Patty's Day - 12:00 noon
2013 - 3/17/2013 - Sunday - St. Patty's Day - 12:00 noon
2014 - 3/17/2014 - Monday - St. Patty's Day - 12:00 noon
2015 - 3/14/2015 - Sunday - 12:00 noon
2016 - 3/5/2016 - Saturday - 12:00 noon
2017 - 3/18/2017 - Saturday - 12:00 noon

So it has often fallen on St. Pattys day, or the nearest Saturday, except 2016 which was much earlier. Considering St. Patty's day falls on a Saturday this year that seem like a likely date. Or who knows, they could push it back given that the fest is later.

I fully expect them to announce details about ticket sales, groups, and variant distribution that are identical to last year. Then they'll switch sh*t up a week before DLD.

Just noticed that there's no Dark Lord Day site with the mystery password entry, as there usually is. Typing in www.darklordday.com redirects you to the FFF website. What is this madness?

In wake of the multiple sexual scandals this past year FFF thought it best not to have random drunk guys hitting up every other man and woman at DLD for some Handjee love....

I don’t know about you but I plan on getting a Handjee. I usually share a hotel room with 3-4 dudes so my odds of getting one are pretty good.

 

Also, there was a Dark Lord day twitter (the one they used to tweet out variant tappings last year), and I had the page bookmarked, but now when I go there it says it doesn't exist. I don't have a twitter account tho, anyone else get anything for "at" 3F_DarkLordDay ???

Latest rumor from Facebook, No variants this year! That’s a new one. Apparently someone heard it at Huna Day.

 

Normally the rumors start with no vanilla variant, usually doe to a mysterious inflection that only affects vanilla. This year they are really ramping things up!!
