On a train to Brussels right now, just for the day. Where should I drink?

    So far the obvious choices seem to be Cantillon and Delirium Cafe. Any other can't-miss spots? I have to be back to the train station by 7:00 p.m., so only about 8 hrs. total.

    Also if you want to share a brew look for the bald/shaved-head guy with a reddish beard and a turtleneck, with an over-the-shoulder blue messenger bag.

    Moeder Lambic for sure. To be honest I'd skip Delirium. It's basically only worthwhile for the local population to drink some American and other international craft you'd be very hard-pressed to find anywhere else in Belgium. They don't have anything particularly special in their domestic selection and they don't stock roughly a quarter of their 2,000 beers. Their world record shtick has worn off a loooong time ago.

    Moeder Lambic is definitely your go-to place if you're only there for the day.

    Moeder & Cantillon for sure. Only about a 5 minute walk apart.
