First off thank you to everyone for the best forum on BA. Loving it. Double Dry Rubbed brisket wins the internet for me.

My wife refers to tailgating as "the asphalt party" That seems the right term for the Equilibrium line bottle share.

    Love the cross post.

Yeah that was a very strong move @mumbles44 - I used to equate IPAPolice solely with magnify

Hey this line of work gets you to a lot of breweries. Maybe Sammy can critique an EQ beer he's never tried and make it a true crossthread.

Going to take a drive up to Hudson Valley Brewery today and want to stop by Equilibrium as well. I'm looking for an easy time with no lines. I doubt HV has any cans left and they don't open till 2, so maybe a crowler or 2. I'm thinking that EQ cans will last past the line as was stated earlier. Any opinion on whether I should stop by EQ on the way to HV around noon on my way up or around 5 on my way back?

Also driving up - about 30 mins out. How’s the brisket today? And is there much left? If not we might stop for breakfast somewhere else.

Not as good as batch 1 IMO, but still better than the brisket I’ve had at other breweries.

Still full allotments of brisket available? Thinking about heading over. Early reviews of the brisket on Untappd were less than stellar, maybe it needs a week

All out, when I got there the grill and all evidence of any line were gone.

I think this dead horse has been beaten to the point that it's tender enough to be smoked and served it in the parking lot next saturday.

    Time to find new material.

First time hitting EQ today with my buddy. A long drive but totally worth it. Top notch folks and beer all around - certainly the best community I've experienced in all my beer adventuring.

I went to EQ today for the first time. I went in the late afternoon so I didn't wait in line or get that experience, but the employees I encountered at the brewery were really friendly and seemed like a great place.

I love that it is just a little bit creamier than you expect, and by the end of the glass you're all on board with that, and looking for another.

I drank one of these yesterday. Found it acceptable but less than top notch. Chocolatey (sp?). Tasted like a sub-par can of Everett to me.

I despise these frigging crowlers. Why must they insist on crowlering everything?

Also continue to be surprised that if you show up after 2:00 PM or so on a Saturday all of the brisket eaters are long gone.

    16 ounce cans please.

On the bright side, the dhop8 was very good. When I looked at it in the glass I thought it looked very much like a Heady but without the floaters.

What I liked about it is I didn't get any unwanted bitter shock on the back palate which has happened to me with the last couple of batches of Heady I have gotten my hands on.

    Again with the crowlers though.
