Adding new Beers and not Reviewing Them?

If I add a beer into the database, you CAN bet that the entry will be as CANprehensive as possible. I will transcribe Notes from the bottle or CAN, or if none are present, I will cut & paste from the brewery's website. Unless it is a draft-only offering, I will take, resize & submit a pic for approval & inclusion. I will not open it until said pic is in place, in case I need to retake the pic. As such, it CAN create a lag, during which others may beat me to the punch, but rest assured, I will write a review at some point.

I know you have successfully uploaded your first beer photo, but I want to point any future (or current and curious) users to another thread about uploading photos. Several posts with various workflows to create a 300x150 photo to upload to BA.

Beers needing photos

 

I got a new beer today that wasn't in the system. I added it, and saw that there were several other beers from the brewery not in the system. I added them, even though I don't know when I'll get the chance to try them.

My thinking is - better to be in the system, than not, even if not tried.

 

Now they're in the system for those that review but don't feel empowered, confident, or motivated to add them.

 

I add all beers I have, and photo too. That's ground work. Then I can review them whenever it's time. Adding is intellectual. Reviewing is feeling.

So have added 18 out of 46 (gots), the rest already were here!
