So it sounds like that BA'd variants are going to be aged for 1 month in used GI Islay barrels?

So I haven't visited this thread in forever, and it's impossible to go over every page without wanting to hit myself over the head repeatedly with a hammer. Nevertheless, feel free to correct me where I'm off, but the gist in the last month or so is: (a) FFF hasn't announced an on-sale date; (b) FFF hasn't announced any details on allocations; and (c) people keep beating a dead horse with the same hackneyed jokes as they do every year around this time. Is this accurate?

In the spirit of the Dark Lord, I suggest you get your hammer and start reading at page 1.

I dont see them straight up cancelling it I mean even if they did just the bottle share people would still pay $20 for admission for that alone... actually we used to do that, lol

You got to love Three Floyd’s! Their internet presence is very “bipolar” on one hand they are quite good at updating their Beers to Go and Tap List (up to the minute sometimes), they respond fast to emails and are pretty good at responding on Twitter. However, when it comes to information about DL Day and the Distillery it is crickets. I guess it is their attempt to be “Not Normal”.

Every day that passes makes me more nervous. Agreed, they'll still have it and they still have 60 days to get everything ironed out, but the delay means something is up. If everything was good/figured out, they would have already sold tix.
They longer they hold that ticket money, the more interest they can make. That's why musicians sell tix to concerts 6-8-10 months in advance.
Each day that passes without news should lower expectations.

While something certainly could be wrong and that they would prefer to have their money ASAP, by no means does this mean something is definitely wrong. Remember, it is a week later this year, so if they managed to announce that tickets go on sale this weekend...it'd still be the same timing as last year. And also, maybe they are just being a bit more careful this year since they had some changes last year after tickets went on sale and would like to avoid that. So, perhaps it'll still be a couple weeks extra until tickets are on sale.

WE LITERALLY HAVE NO IDEA...just how the Dark Lord prefers it, I assume.

Tickets used to always be on sale about 6 weeks out. 6 weeks out this year is April 7.

    Dafuq are you worried about?

I agree, I would be very surprised if something was wrong (while possible) I think they are being deliberate in an attempt to avoid changes like last year. I assume DL Day is a big money maker for them and to mess it up right before a major expansion would, I hope, make them question if they were ready for said expansion. Just my two cents...

N.B. Plus as stated above they are technically still within the usual time frame.
