I'm guessing your standard pretzel necklace will still be allowed.

I’m guessing a jimmy johns sandwich strategically placed in my backpack will be allowed too.

Yeah, it’s new. Now you’ll be eating Dönerman to survive like the rest of us.

Definitely not thrilled about the outside food change. Pretzel necklace saved my ass last year. I'm too old to be smuggling in snacks in my pants.

I needed to cut back on how much beer I bring, but 72 seems a little tight. 2 750 ml's and a bomber is technically over! Luckily I doubt they're going to do math.

Just keep food, cooler of food, etc in your car. Exit to car, eat and reenter.

Yeah what are they thinking about the food though...? We usually bought food, but still enjoy bringing a box of cereal or something, if not just for the lulz.

Better make sure you're finished bottle sharing for the day though. No beer allowed back in with re-entry.

It isn't outside food if it is part of your outfit. #pizzaunderwear?

Wonder if searches for RFID spoofers have gone up significantly.

Only 2 vendors to buy food from? The other 2 are coffee places (which will be much needed). So, get drunk all morning, leave to get food, get drunk all day to metal music, leave to get more food, get drunk all evening, drive home?

I mean, don't drive drunk but....10,000+ people are expected to:

Call cabs, rides, lyfts, ubers, or drive themselves to refuel their energy all day while they wait for their Dark Lord?
    -OR-
Choose between only 2 vendors for food and wait in line (which I'm sure will be very long)?
    -OR-
Bring a cooler and leave and reenter while making sure you drank/share all of the expensive rare beer you saved for DLD? (better not get hungry early)

Seems like group E is going to be screwed and spending A LOT more money unless they are okay with sharing/drinking all of their beer they brought early. Lastly, seems like someone got greedy because there are only 2 places to buy food. At all-day hardcore metal drinking event, one of the top 3 things should be considering food for the attendees. This is going to be a disaster. No one is going to want to leave to eat and reenter with no beer so they're going to drink their beer as food.
Remember: "All info subject to change." (hopefully this does)

I have skipped the food lines in the past because they were long and slow moving. Hope they fix this.

Meanwhile, I flip the bird in your general direction fff, I am still smuggling a sandwich in.

Forgot to mention: attaching my CC to my wristband sounds hazardous. There's at least an 80% chance that I (or whoever claims it off my corpse) will run up a tab of several hundred dollars since I don't actually need to fish for cash.

Will it be samurai though since they've already done that? I think I remember them re-using themes prior to the fest then using a new theme for the actual tickets...mind is fuzzy on huna right now

They’ve never really counted the ounces before, that would make the entry line slower than you can imagine. Think about the arguments about 750s Vs. bombers and 11.9 ounce bottles. I wouldn’t be too worried. I brought in a jimmy johns sub last year and security complimented me on being the smartest person there.

I definitely don't expect them to be that anal, but if you have 5 big bottles when everyone else has 3...

I believe all this “no outside food” and “72oz limit” is much ado about nothing.

If the security is anything like previous years, it’ll be a quick search of the bag, and then a wave of the hand. I can’t see these guys doing math at the gates.

“Umm. Actually sir, these are 355 ml, so you’re going to have concert to metric please.

Also, in 2015 the Belgian owned Budweiser switched their popular bourbon county line to 500ml bottles...”

Security - “Just fucking move along please”
