Chris, I’m really enjoying this one. It initially comes off as dank, but the malt and citrus hops balance things out perfectly. This is a crusher!

Another pour of this Michelob Golden Light, saved from last night. @jzeilinger: The advantage of recapping MGL is that with a pint of this and some itty-bitty vintage glassware, you can get two or more drainpours for the price of one. Besides, who wants to drink a whole pint of this in one sitting anyway?



On the whole, I'd rather have a Blatz.

 

Have held on to this one for an while. Might as well crack into it.

Poured jet black, with no visible head. Bitter coffee is dominating, along with some bakers chocolate, and a bittersweet finish.

Beautiful Sun lit morning and this one called to me . . .



Taste on entry is both malt and hop forward in about equal proportion. The spicy, citrusy, piney hops sing in unison with rich malt carrying the base parts. It presents and continues as an harmonious whole with everything working well together in a beautiful blend of concordant parts. The malt presence is particularly noted because that's often lacking in some Session IPAs. A Session IPA that comes across as a ramped up Pale Ale, this one's a real beauty backed by genuine talent.

It's the first day of spring and there's snow on the ground in southern Indiana. I guess I can drink from the boot one more time this year...

a rare cancelled day with pay in my biz......

 

When I was in Singapore back in 2010, I remember ABC Export Stout packaged in Burgundy colored, 16oz cans. However, there were definite off-flavors even way back then. I always just went with Guinness Foreign Extra Stout. They were usually on sale at 7-Eleven (I couldn't believe that 7-Elevens existed over there!)...(2) pounder cans for 8 Sing Dollars. Great deal in any country!

 

It has stopped raining ice and has changed over to snow here on Long Island. Figured I would start with a beautiful sipper on a disgusting day. Cheers!

 

Methinks the under the table part is a bit of a prevarication. I do have 10 more yrs of practice though.
